Lynn O’Leary and Mary Ann Saxby worked for many years as Realtors for large franchise companies. As the
companies grew in size, we realized that "big" was not in the best interest of our clients. The corporate structure
served itself first, then the clients. In 1997 we opened O’Leary & Saxby Real Estate as independent Realtors.
We have been able to better serve our client’s needs in a smaller more professional environment with the ideal of
putting their needs first.

As an experienced residential real estate broker who has been licensed in Maine since 1987, I concentrate my real estate business in the greater Portland area, which includes a 45-minute drive radius from Portland.
I specialize in working with Buyers and Sellers of both residential and investment properties. Being a native of Gorham, a Portland suburb, I enjoy the process of helping buyers new to our area discover all that we have to offer. I find it satisfying helping them choose the community, as well as the home, that best fits their family’s needs and lifestyles. Being the mother of a child with disabilities, I am particularly aware of educational needs for Special Education students and can be most helpful in fitting these needs into the home-finding process.
When working with my Seller clients, I find that good communication is essential so they are aware of every step of the process, from showings to market conditions to the process from contract to closing.
I have been a member of the Portland Board of Realtors since 2004 and have the honor of being President Elect for 2006, and President for 2007.

Coming
from a real estate family made this career a natural choice. I began
in the commercial sector, spent several years as a Series 7 in a
securities firm and ended up following in my Dad's footsteps, 20+
years ago specializing
in residential sales and consulting.
My passion for horses has made
one
of my interests farms and land. I live in a 1780's restored farm
house with lots of critters around. I've done over 80 new construction
packages
with many local builders.
I am an enthusiastic entrepreneur who's
desire is to make each client's experience buying or selling a positive
experience.
